Americans living in a police state?

The FBI raided the homes of a number of anti-war activists in Chicago and Minneapolis. The Activists are planning demonstrations against the FBI. Is this a sign of a growing American police state? Former Reagan official Paul Craig Roberts argued that the US government is establishing in the mind of the public that anyone who criticizes the War on Terror is aligned with terrorists. He further argued that under the rubric of terror the government has stripped American's of their civil liberties.

Interviewed on Russia Today News, former Reagan administration official and economist Paul Craig Roberts explains what is really going on behind the recent arrests of antiwar activists in the US by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. Roberts explains that the real target of and threat to the US elite are the '9/11 truthers' and that, through the recent arrests and similar actions, the US government is attempting to establish in the public mind that any dissent against the 'war on terror', including questioning 9/11, is tantamount to terrorism itself.
